October 24th, 1:00-5:00: 2nd Annual Coastside Brewfest
In celebration of the plethora of amazing breweries in the Bay Area and on the Coastside, the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is hosting the second annual Coastside Brewfest in the expansive waterfront parking lot of the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company. Some of the best breweries of the Bay Area will be in attendance, offering tastes of their favorite brews including Mavericks, Hop Dogma, Cellermaker, Devil’s Canyon, Deschutes, Epidemic, Fieldwork, Fort Point, Green Flash, Magnolia, Marin, Moylans, Santa Clara Valley, Santa Cruz Ale Works, Sudwerk, and others. Full details here. Off the Grid food trucks offer guests the chance to purchase a wide variety of local specialties. The Half Moon Bay Brewing Company will also offer a special free tasting of sister company Mavericks Brewing’s Grey Water Tunnel Vision Ale, brewed with 100% NASA recycled grey water. In keeping with the Brewing Company’s ongoing philanthropic initiatives, a portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to Coastside Hope. Tickets are $30 in advance or $45 at the door.
October 31st: Happy Halloween
Live music from 7 to 10 p.m., and costume contest at 8 p.m. Bone Drivers, a Bay Area rock band that gets everyone out on the dance floor, will provide a fun and festive soundtrack to the annual Halloween party at the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company. Guests of all ages are welcome to enter the annual costume contest, which awards prizes for a variety of categories, including Most Original Costume, Best Group Costume and the Costume Most Likely to be Imitated Next Year.
November 26th, 10:00-5:00: Thanksgiving Dinner
In addition to the regular menu available throughout Thanksgiving Day, Chef Federico Godinez features classic holiday specials such as a house-roasted turkey with all the trimmings, butternut squash soup, and an array of homemade desserts such as butternut squash cheesecake with gingersnap crust and pumpkin ice cream. December 11th, 6:00-7:30: Funky Sweater & Scotch Ale Winter Ale Release Party
In honor of the crisp holiday season in the Bay Area, the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company has crafted a big, malty winter warmer called Sneaky Peat Winter Ale. Guests are invited to don their funkiest holiday sweater and join the brewers in the bar for the release of this winter ale, with seasonal menu specials presented by Chef Godinez. The Brewing Company awards a special prize for the "Funkiest Sweater," and also has small gifts on hand for everyone who shows their funky sweater spirit. In the bar, and admission is complimentary.
December 31st - March 31, 2016: When it Rains, We Pour
Back by popular demand, Half Moon Bay Brewing Company will once again offer its "When it Rains, We Pour" special starting December 31st. If there is an 80% or more chance of rain in the Half Moon Bay area, simply show the bartender the forecast on your smartphone and receive happy hour pricing on all drinks.
December 31st, 5:00-9:00: Early-Bird New Year's Eve
On Thursday, December 31, join us the Brewing Company hosts an "Early Bird New Year's Eve" with live music delivering a fun and festive soundtrack with which to ring in the New Year. Menu and drink specials are available throughout the evening, and when the ball drops on the East Coast (9pm PST) everyone at the Brewing Company will celebrate like it's 2016.
January 30-31, 2016: Crab Fest
Save the date! Half Moon Bay Crabfest will be here at the Brewco under big beautiful tents overlooking the harbor.
