Summer Beer at Half Moon Bay Brewing Company
It’s starting to heat up here in Half Moon Bay which means it’s the perfect time for a cold beer. We will have a lot of different specialty beers coming out throughout the summer. Keep a lookout for our Shark Eats Helicopter IPA soon. This one starts off with a soft malt palate from Weyermann Pils, wheat, and light crystal malts. It transitions into a super tropical, stone fruit, guava, and passion fruit juicy hop explosion from Mosaic, Citra, and Galaxy hops. In addition to Shark Eats Helicopter, we’ll also have our White Peach Belgian Blonde and Harbor Lights Cream Ale coming out soon. Check out everything we currently have on tap here.
Participate in a beach cleanup with us on June 15th at 9am at Surfers Beach! Coronado Brewing Company and Surfrider Foundation are hosting the cleanup and Half Moon Bay Brewing Company and our friends at Hop Dogma Brewing Company are participating. We’re giving all volunteers a coupon for a free cup of chowder as a thank you for participating. We’ll also have a keg of water there for everyone so make sure to bring your reusable water bottle to fill up and hydrate. There are no sign-ups required to volunteer, just show up at Surfers Beach on the 15th!
We’ll be pouring beer at Bark ‘n’ Brewfest on June 22nd. The event is a fundraiser for the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA where local craft breweries, cider makers, and a few artisan wineries will be pouring samples of their beverages. All proceeds go straight to PHS. Tickets and more information here.
We will also be pouring our beer at Breastfest on July 20th. BreastFest Beer Festival was born as a way to help raise money for and support the state licensed non-profit clinics offering alternative medical treatments for low-income women diagnosed with cancer. The event takes place at the Marin Center in San Rafael. Tickets and more information here.
And lastly we have some exciting news about one of our core beers: Full Swing IPA is coming out in cans in July! Check back with us the first or second week of July and we’ll have one of our favorites available for purchase in cans.
