Free public forum welcomes Josh Fryday, California's Chief Service Officer who serves on Governor Newsom's cabinet, and charged with leveraging service and volunteerism to tackle our state's pressing challenges, in conversation with Lenny Mendonca, Former Chief Economic and Business Advisor at State of California, and founder of The Half Moon Bay Brewing Company

Over the past few years, Governor Newsom and Josh's partnership has created the nation's largest service corps - now larger than the Peace Corps - providing over 10,000 opportunities for Californians to serve Californians

Learn how first-in-the-nation programs, such as California Climate Action Corps and #CaliforniansforAll College Corps, are being scaled across the state and nation. California's service corps are leading innovative solutions addressing climate change, education, food insecurity, and disaster preparedness while reducing college debt, providing career pathways, and bridging divides breaking apart our country.
