Hear Supervisor Mueller’s thoughts on issues including public safety, housing, public health, labor and economic vibrancy, families and children, transportation and road safety.

Guest and Moderator Bios:
Ray Mueller
Supervisor Ray Mueller was elected in 2022 to represent San Mateo County’s Third District. Since taking office, he has focused on major community needs, including public health, infrastructure, housing, and public safety. Ray helped launch the Coastside Resilient Infrastructure Strategic Plan (CRISP), cataloging more than 100 coastal protection projects.
He has championed disaster preparedness by preserving landline emergency communications and securing support for local radio stations. Ray also introduced a residential burglary reward program and worked to retain sheriff's deputies through financial incentives.
A strong advocate for workers, Ray co-sponsored the Office of Labor Standards Enforcement and introduced the state’s first AI workforce protection policy. He holds a law degree from UC Law San Francisco and a BA from UC Berkeley, and serves on several regional boards, including SamTrans and Peninsula Clean Energy. Ray and his wife Kristen, a school principal, raised their two children in San Mateo County.
